About

Brittany Spinner is an award winning hospitality and restaurant based interior designer with thirteen years of international and regional hospitality design experience. Brittany Spinner has been drawing floor plans of her dream home since she was in the third grade. Ms. Spinner pursued her lifelong passion for design and developed it into a career. Her ability to understand what a city, a building, or an experience should feel like has been a crucial skill in her development of hotels throughout her portfolio. A talented and varied designer, Brittany molds the design to fit the concept, the property, the client, and the location rather than her personal tastes. This allows for an authentic feeling in each space.

Brittany’s unique approach to design is filled with passion, diligence, curiosity and the continuous love of learning. This love of learning guides her in teaching younger staff based on her experience in a large variety of projects, clients, and locations. Her personal motto is that every day is a new challenge and a new opportunity to grow. In a team setting, Brittany is a hands-on team player that feels that leadership also means to stand side by side with each other to help with project workload and deadlines.

Brittany has specialized in all stages of the design process, but is particularly strong at conceptual design, design processes, project management and values herself as being able to maintain detailed information regarding large projects. Her passion for design and highly-detail oriented approach is evident in every project she works on. Brittany has had the experience of working with many hotel owners and brands throughout the years throughout the world and has developed strong working relationships with each throughout the years. Clients appreciate her passion, drive, and most of all, her proactive approach to problem solving.

Brittany not-so-secret passion for specifications, standards, and codes has helped her pursue extra-curricular activities such as writing HBAs and DLS hotel’s specifications standards and a training manual for how to write a specification. She has also worked with Hilton Brand in developing a new restaurant brand for use in Latin American and the Caribbean.

Brittany has worked closely with many talented principles throughout the years in the implementation of the design process, giving her experience in all stages of hotel design from bidding to installation. She was mentored by the late Cliff Tuttle and worked closely with him through the years developing designs and learning from his vast expertise. Her other mentors include Brooke Copani, Michael Sandler, Meghann Day, Deborah Forrest  and Cynthia Bogie all of which helped Brittany refine her skills and taught her invaluable lessons that she carries on today.

Ms. Spinner graduated cum laude from the FIDER-accredited Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on Interior Architecture and Design. Her final project, a conceptual hotel in Thailand, was featured in the Academy of Art’s esteemed Spring Show. Brittany was LEED AP accredited in June 2009

“Interior Design; an all consuming, inescapable passion In which I would not trade for the world.”- Brittany Spinner
